Scheduled departure dates

Let’s face it active travelers – many of us travel solo or as a couple.  Some (not all) operators will give you a discount when you book as a group, but the bother and the logistics of gathering a group are beyond many travelers ability. Add to this the fact that the minimum group size to qualify for the discount is set at high levels (often 8-10), then the discount remains a mirage to most travelers. We invite you to our genuine group discounts in our scheduled departure tours.  

As an outfitter who is right on the ground, we use our strong relationships with our partner suppliers to negotiate the best possible rates and then spread our overheads on the number of clients per scheduled departure irrespective of whether they book solo or just as a couple. Based on our policy of small groups of min 4 and max 12 clients (and strictly 10 on the birding tours), price reductions apply as bookings progress to 6-9 and 10-12 clients.  We pass to you the genuine benefit of traveling in a small group without the bother of gathering the group by yourself. In addition we include the cost of all meals, activity and park fees in our tour price, so you have the comfort of knowing that there will be no surprise kitty funds and local costs to be paid on arrival in Kenya - this is an important fact to consider  when comparing tour prices. 

Due to the small size of the groups, single rooms are limited and while we will try to match solo travelers with partners to share a room, a single supplement will apply when a room is used solo.

Scheduled depatures for our 15-day birding tour in '08:

• Jan 20 through Feb 3

• June 1 through 15

• Oct 4 through 18.

Included are: All accommodation as per the itinerary on sharing bases in ensuite rooms, all meals from breakfast of day 2 through lunch of the last day, exclusive transport Nrb-Nrb and 2 airport transfers in a safari vehicle, guiding services, check list on the birding tours, activity and park entrance fees, Flying Doctor's evacuation cover and bottled water during the walks.

Excluded are: Expenditures of personal nature, drinks, water at the table, tips and any other item outside the itinerary.
