Why are more women going on active vacations to africa?

YOU ASKED

Why are more women going on active vacations to Africa? I would want to join a women-only safari to Africa but I am overweight (shame to admit) and I would just want to sit in the safari vehicle or the swimming pool but not on exhausting adventure.

ANNE HUYSMAN REPLIES

The fact that more women are taking active holidays to Africa as well as other other overseas destinations is just a reflection of the shift women's lifestyles which has gone from passive to a more health conscious active mode.

As more women join get disposable income and have a free hand in setting their holiday times they want to do things that please them as individuals. To many this means they want to be out hiking , mountain climbing, rafting, kayaking, bird watching or any other type of adventure as long as it is paced to the individual taste.

While there is nothing outright wrong with sitting by the swimming pool during your women-only African safari but you could cut down on the "swimming-pool" time and do soft walks on which you can see game and get a one-on-one interaction with local people. Being overweight should not prevent you from getting the maximum value from your African safari.
